Miami to Key West Day Trip with Activity Options

Overview
- Ride across 34 islands and 42 bridges known as the Florida Keys. You will travel through the 7 Mile Bridge - one of the longest in the world! The road is bordered by the emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Make sure you take pictures! You will have 6 hs free in Key West to explore the island at your leisure. Key West lies at the end of the chain of islands known as the Florida Keys and is the southernmost city in the continental United States.
- Key West is known for its clear blue waters, sun-filled skies, and laid-back attitude. In addition to being a great vacation spot, the city has also served as an artistic refuge, a presidential retreat, and a military post.
- Water activities are very popular in Key West too! We offer Snorkeling, Parasailing, and Glass Bottom Boat tours.

Note: If the activities get canceled for any reason, we will refund them, however, we will NOT refund the tour to Key West ($49 value).

Seven Mile Bridge
There are two bridges in this location. The modern bridge is open to vehicular traffic; the older one only to pedestrians and cyclists. The older bridge, originally known as the Knights Key-Pigeon Key-Moser Channel-Pacet Channel Bridge, was constructed from 1909 to 1912 under the direction of Henry Flagler and Clarence S. Coe as part of the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension, also known as the Overseas Railroad.

US 1 Mile Marker 0
An interesting landmark for US highways. Mile marker zero notes the start of the highway for the US.1. The US.1 stretches from Key West, Florida, more than 2,000 miles to Fort Kent, Maine, not far from the United States-Canada border. The highway connects several major cities along the eastern seaboard such as Boston, Washington, D.C., and Portland, Maine. It’s also commonly referred to as the Overseas Highway in Florida, as it stretches out across the Florida Keys.

It was awful! We booked months ahead of time and found out half way to key west our snorkeling was cancelled. The tour guide dropped us in the middle of key west with no map or directions and sat in ridiculous heat for 6 hours with nothing to do since all of the activities were cancelled. Came all the way from Wisconsin and our vacation was ruined. Bus was packed full every seat, no covid guidelines were followed and nobody wore masks. We were the first picked up and last dropped off. It was just ridiculous.

Hi, Thank you for your valued feedback. Unfortunately, Saturdays are very busy days for Snorkeling, and the activity was completely sold out! We have nothing in our power to change this. However, we understand your frustration. Our drop-off point (in front of the Flagler Railroad Museum) is as south as the city government lets us take the coach bus. Since the bus is big and the streets aren't, this is where they allow us to drop off. We are sorry about the map, we have always given out maps and we will talk to the tour guide to see why he didn't give them out! As of now, we are operating at a 70% capacity of the bus. We have about 57 total seats and book about 40 seats. The driver and tour guide are constantly reminding passengers to keep their masks on and we have signs requiring masks on at all times as well. We try out best to make sure everyone is wearing masks at all times. Thanks.

The tour guide was kind and funny! Definitely made sure you understood all the excursions and how they worked. He also gave important facts on throughout the ride about the keys but also gave you down time to nap if you wanted to!

Amazing day well spend in the keys. I recommend taking the trolley when you first get there to hop in hop off to explore I didn't and didn't get to see much.
