I loved this tour - I didn't want to drive my own car on the Dalton & this worked out perfectly. My first interaction with this company over the phone talking about the differences in the tours & scheduling one was super pleasant - thanks Cheri!
Parking is $4/Day at a lot across the street that is easy to find.
My tour guide Patrick was extremely kind, funny, and knowledgeable about the history, environment, pipeline, and more. We stopped at places like gold mining operations, the Trading Post that closed a year ago (cute bathrooms and old lemonade stand), the Yukon River Camp, Finger Mountain, and the pipeline itself. We also walked on some permafrost which was a bit wet but very interesting. When we got to the Arctic Circle sign, Patrick rolled out a red carpet for photos which was a nice touch! So happy I can cross this off my bucket list.
He drove very professionally & was able to answer any additional questions myself and the other passengers had. Patrick is definitely a great asset to the company.
A nice surprise was seeing Denali at the end while driving back :)
10/10 would book another tour with Northern Alaska Tour Company again. They offer several driving / flying tours and I'm looking into a second one already!
