Oh Milwaukee…. We have been on a road trip for the last seven months and have done “bus tours” in Austin, San Antonio, St. Augustine, Savanah, Charleston, Ashville and New York and this was the best! First of all who would have thought that Milwaukee was so interesting – We all know about the beer but did you know that at one time Milwaukee was home to the highest habitable building in the country? So the City was a delightful surprise but what made this trip better than the others was Mike. Mike is a young man who is in love with his city. He not only knows the history (this is usually the expertise of old tour directors) but is excited about the present. The Tour talks about the history but the stops are at new businesses in the repurposed downtown area. Mike is so excited about this city that he has spent the last three years building this business and dreams of staying forever. His youth, energy and excitement is contagious and if you go on a nice day, you will start thinking about moving to Milwaukee. Go on a weekday so you can get in City Hall….

We did the three hour tour with Mike when we were in town for a Brewer weekend. Super friendly guy. Nice clean bus with great WI memorabilia all over the inside. We saw many sites that we probably would have just driven past. He wore a headset and narrated the entire ride. There were out of towners as well as locals and I feel everyone got "something" out of it. Little things like "this would be a good spot for a bathroom break if you need it" kind of things make a difference and Mike was good about this. Loved all the info he gave about the Brewing history in Milwaukee and the various mansions and theaters, water tower, light house, the beaches, the museum etc....tons of info. you can tell he loves his city. Highly recommend. The price was spot on for what we got. Loved the beer samples at the brewery our final stop..... Mike was great to work with from our initial online booking to his on time meeting spot/pickup as well as the entire tour....I would consider doing this again if I brought new friends to town. Great job Mike and wishing you much luck with your venture!!

This tour starts at City Hall under the clock tower. Tour started right on time and group was small about 10 fit on shuttle bus. Mike was an excellent guide pointing out sights and providing short history. He gave the right amount of information without talking the whole time. We saw the Bronze Fonz statue, Milwaukee art museum, Miller Park, North Point lighthouse, Pabst mansion, The Domes, Bradford Beach and much more. We visited Clock Shadow creamery to taste cheese and see where it is made and we also visited Lakefront brewery for a tour and beer tasting. Tour was 3 hours long as stated on website. Restrooms can be found at art museum and brewery while on this tour. Highly recommend this tour of Milwaukee.
