Our tour guide Bianca (Lady B) was friendly and enthusiastic. She grew up in Milwaukee and provided good historical information and comparisons on how the city has changed. We enjoyed the various food stops which were a good representation of the city’s famous dishes. The amount of food served was generous and tasty. This was our second food tour and we would definitely do it again in another city.

Our tour guide arrived late, which wasn’t a great start. She was not knowledgeable about the city and appeared to be reading off Wikipedia throughout the tour. Some information she provided was inaccurate or wholly incorrect. The food we had throughout was good but served family style and not well portioned for a group of 11. None of the information provided by the guide was tailored to the food or the restaurants, which was really what we wanted out of the tour. Unfortunately, the experience overall was too expensive and took too long for what we got.

Thank you so much for sharing your comments. We're saddened that your recent experience with our Milwaukee Walking Food Tour didn’t meet your expectations. We aim to provide every guest with an engaging and informative journey through the city's culinary landscape, and it's disappointing to learn that we missed the mark during your visit. Firstly, we understand the importance of a punctual start and the impact it had on your experience. At Secret Food Tours we don’t tolerate tardiness, and this is something that has never occurred in our Milwaukee tours. We recognize that this aspect deviated from the intended experience of our food tour, and we're deeply disappointed by this. Our guides are also known for their enthusiasm and knowledge - eagerly sharing insights about the food and the rich history of the city, while moving from venue to venue. They are equally more than happy to accommodate specific inquiries or discussions when asked. We regret that this wasn't fully reflected in your journey with your guide. Please know that your feedback is taken positively as it helps us continually improve our tours. With this, we’ll work closely with our guides to address any issues that may have led to your underwhelming journey through Milwaukee's food scene. This would surely be beneficial as we continuously aim to deliver laudable food tours at all instances. Lastly, we're glad you enjoyed the food. We want every guest to feel satisfied with both the quality and quantity of food provided. Regarding our portions and presentation, we are always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us make the necessary adjustments to better cater to our guests. While we understand that this experience was not what you had hoped for, we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. We are confident we can meet your expectations better next time. If you’d like to discuss this further, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
