Overview

Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.

As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Our raft ride was the perfect start to our day! Dusty was a wonderful guide & Ronnie was an awesome trip lead! They both did a great job providing us with all the information we needed to feel safe and Dusty was fantastic at sharing all the Moab fun facts! Fab morning trip!!!

I had a wonderful time and the young men that were our guides were funny and very informative. The raft I was on was guided by Caleb and he kept the ride very fun and gave great information regarding the surrounding sightseeing.

The whole process was done in a very professional manner. From the checkin to the end we felt like we had experts guiding us through the process. Our guide, Tyson was very well spoken and kept us engage with fun facts and interesting tidbits. I would highly recommend this company and trip for families who want a very easy day.
