We had the best time...it was the highlight of our trip topping the Grand Canyon.. Jamie was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed having him as our guide.

Before booking my 2.5 hour 4X4 Monument Valley Tour, I requested by e--mail a confirmatrion that the tour would include all the 11 points of the classic Valley Drive. The answer was that all points would be included, plus other points in the restricted areas. With my great disappointment it was not so at all. I did my tour on Saturday May 25th at 9:00. I was taken only to the first 5 points of the Valley Drive and then to some other places of little or no interest at all. The stops at any places were exaggeratedly long, much longer than necessary, resulting in a waste of the available time. At the end of the tour I had no other choice than driving my own car again through the complete Valley Drive, including the wonderful portions (the last 6 points) that had been completely skipped by the tour guide. By the way, I would advise that there is no problem in completing the tour with a normal vehicle (without need of a 4 wheel drive) plus you avoid a lot of sand in your face. I recommend not to take this tour. Gaspare

We elected to take a guided jeep tour, as you are able to go deeper into Monument Valley with a guide than just self driving. It was fantastic. Cody took us all the way through the park back to areas unreachable without a 4 x 4. One highlight was the Big Hogan, where Cody sang a traveling song in his native language. I highly recommend Simpson and Cody!

Thank you for sharing your time with us during your visit to our beautiful lands of Monument Valley! You are so correct... that to truly enjoy all that our lands have to offer, all visitors should allow a homegrown Navajo guide, like Cody, to share his knowledge and take you through the "deeper and unreachable" areas of Monument Valley which are restricted from being seen otherwise! Cody will be pleased that you enjoyed his guiding... and the special song he presented in his native language at the amazingly beautiful and acoustically perfect Big Hogan, for sharing music! Thanks again... and may you travel in peace and safety, and come back again in the near future to enjoy more of what our special valley offers the people of the world!
