Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We were fortunate to have Garry as our guide for a morning tour of the classic Monument valley landscape. Garry is very knowledgeable about the formations and history of the valley. He also plays a mean flute! Garry took us to the normal tourist sites and those that only the Navajo guides can access. His stories and insights about the Navajo and Anasazi people were spellbinding. We highly recommend this tour and would do it again!! We liked it so much we stayed for an afternoon tour of the spiritual sites in the valley!

We were the only 2 on our trip which was fantastic. Our guide, Will, was very knowledgeable and attentive. I'm so glad we booked this tour instead of driving it ourselves. We learned about the culture and saw things that we wouldn't have seen if we were on our own. It has been on my bucket list forever and it was worth it.

I camped for two weeks throughout the Colorado plateau region with my husband and two children (7-11) and this was the only guided tour we paid for. We chose it because the reviews were astonishing and I wanted the children to know more about the dineh/Navajo people. And it stood up to expectations. With Larsen we could reach areas of Monument Valley that are not accessible without a guide and in each place he told us about his childhood growing up in the Navajo culture, the beliefs, the legends, way of life, houses, school, and he also played the traditional flute for us! We also chatted about nowadays challenges the Navajo confront every day. I would also like to add that my husband and I are tourist guides in Italy, so we know a bit about guiding.
