Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Add me to the list of customers who had a tour reservation with Navajo Spirit Tours which was cancelled due to the closure of the Tribal Park. All attempts to contact this company for a refund have failed. They do not answer the telephone and do not respond to email. Does anyone have an idea of how to get our money back from Navajo Spirit Tours?

We participated in the All Day Tour of Monument & Mystery Valleys in Feb 2020. I cannot recommend Navajo Spirit Tours enough, we had a fantastic day. Sean was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and professional with the right amount of jokes and off-topic conversation. Monument Valley is obviously incredible but the road down is quite rough and crowded. We were happy not to be in our own vehicle and to be able to focus on the sights. The extra commentary and explanation of the valley and its history added to our appreciation of what we were seeing. We were also taken to areas not accessible on your own - Sean even showed us a traditional Navajo instrument and played some songs. Being alone in the arches with the music and acoustics was really surreal. We were alone for lunch (bring your own or buy from The View Hotel) and met back up for the afternoon Mystery Valley. Only accessible with a guide. We were alone in the valley and able to fully appreciate the magic of the landscape, ruins and petroglyphs. It is very important, but can be challenging to visit these sites in a respectable way to appreciate their history and continuing spiritual significance. Sean did a really excellent job with this challenging task. We left we a new appreciation not only of this incredible area but also its relationship to the Navajo people and their culture. I cannot recommend these two tours enough and I hope that you will support this operator once we can all travel safely again.
