Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Don was our guide for the mystery canyon sunset tour and the monument valley sunrise tour. He shared history of the Navajo tribe with us. He was kind and informative. We didn’t have the beat weather, but he made the most of the tour regardless.

This is the best money I could have spent on our visit to Monument Valley. We did the Teardrop Arch tour and our tour guide Don Mose was an amazing teacher. We learned so much about the Navajo culture, language, and history. My 13 year old said it was the best part of our 12 day road trip through Utah and Colorado and this is saying a lot from a kid who rarely looks up from his phone. We greatly appreciate the dedicated time Don took explaining every detail about the landscape and history of the people. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful trip!

Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Navajo Spirit Tours! Our Navajo Indian guide, Don, was nothing less than excellent. From the history of Indian tribes in the valley, to how the valley was formed to Navajo culture and traditions to photography tips-Don presented it all to us with kindness and enthusiasm. There were only 3 of us on the tour (2 adults and a tween). We all found his efforts to preserve the Navajo culture and language with younger generations amazing. We saw some bigger tours and were very happy we choose a smaller tour and enjoyed the specialized attention we received. We also appreciated riding around in a suburban as apposed to a larger bus or on the back of a truck. We were all sad when our tour came to an end. If you want an authentic experience with an intimate feel you must do a Navajo Spirit Tour!
