Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We took a sunset photography tour with Larson in October and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our cross-country road trip. Photos cannot fully capture how stunning Monument Valley is; you really need to see it in person. But thanks to Larson’s guidance and expertise, we do have some pretty awesome shots from our visit.

My wife and I spent a day in Monument Valley. We did a tour of this indescribable place with Navajo Spirit Tours. What a fantastic experience! Our guide, Will Cowboy, who grew up in the Valley and knows it like the back of his hand was a exceptional tour guide. He taught us so much about the valley, showed us its beauty and shared about his culture and his own experience. What an insightful moment! Can't wait to be back and tour again with Navajo Spirit Tours!

I cannot say enough good things about our tour through Monument Valley with Navajo Spirit tours. First, I would 100% recommend visiting in the winter. I have been in the summer and it is a completely different experience. The landscape was beautifully covered in snow and the crowds are so much smaller, it feels like you are nearly alone at times. Our tour guide was Will Cowboy. With so few people in the winter, my husband and I basically had a private tour. Will was an amazing guide. By the end of our tour, I felt like I had learned so much about Navajo history and culture. He told us about the Navajo religious stories related to the valley, his family's history (living there for more than 15 generations!), and much more. He always pointed out where to get the best pictures and took pictures of us at different sites. Kind, funny, knowledgable and easy to talk to. Cannot recommend highly enough!
