What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We went on a morning tour with Larsen who was a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge was outstanding and we learnt so much about the history of this magical place and its people past and present. Do not hesitate to book. Do it now. You will not regret it!

We really had no idea we'd get so much out of our afternoon tour. We completely underestimated the experience. We learned so much thanks to our guide Sean Holiday. He was so patient explaining everything and giving us so much history. We love that he played his flute for us and that he shared so much and answered any questions we had. This land is not the same without the history of its people and we are so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend!

Seeing Monument Valley has been on my bucket list for years and we finally got to come this year. We decided to do a tour rather than self drive as we wanted to understand more of the history. We booked Navajo Spirit Tours based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. We did an afternoon sunset tour and met the rest of the tour at the designated place. Then it was off in the back of the Jeep with Larsen our wonderful guide at the wheel. We immediately headed off the main route and into restricted areas which were just incredible. Larsen’s knowledge of the area and the rock formations was fantastic. He was super friendly and so nice to drive around with for a couple of hours. We loved loved loved the tour and the surrounding scenery. Like nothing we have ever seen before. No pictures can do the view justice. Just extraordinary. Highly recommend going on a tour as you learn and see so much more than driving yourself.
