What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Our tour was perfect. I highly recommend doing one of their tours to get more of the history and cultural experience. Our tour was named Larson, and he was very knowledgable and friendly. He taught us alot about the navajo traditions. We got to visit a local hogan and learn alittle more about rug weaving. He also played us a song which was awesome. There is only 1 hiking trail in monument valley that you can access by yourself, so I highly recommend doing the tour. It was well worth the money and very enjoyable.

Our guide, Will Cowboy, while seeing the sights, informed us of the Navajo culture and customs. He was the best guide we have ever had and this was the best tour we have been on. Will shared his family's history and stories with us going back 18 generations. We highly recommend Navajo Spirit Tours!

We have just completed a tour of Monument Valley with Gary of Navajo Spirit Tours. We had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend anyone to take this tour. We learned so much about The Valley and about the Navajo Nation - it was brilliant. Although we booked a group tour there was only the two of us and we were able to take our time on the trip - book the 4 hour version definitely worth it. Monument Valley is a very special place and spending four hours with Gary made us understand why we felt that way. We have travelled extensively but this was a real highlight for us. On a practical matter Miesha and Latisha who run the bookings were great in helping us book when we were unable to phone through details they organised an online payment that worked seamlessly. Thank you ladies and of course Gary, we really enjoyed both the tour and your company!!
