Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We had a great experience touring Monument Valley with Larry Lee Stanley as our guide. He was charming and knowledgeable and really made the tour worthwhile. The roads were rough and would have been impossible in our vehicle. We spent lots of the tour at places not accessible without a guide. Highly recommend.

We just completed two different tours in two days with this wonderful company. During our first tour, Gary showed us the beauty and wonder of Monument Valley and helped us understand the importance of the monuments to his people both historically and currently. His stories added amazing depth to our experience. On our second tour, Larry took us to Mystery Canyon. Beyond pointing out amazing views, he offered a verbal history of the valley and surrounding areas intertwined with the history of his Clan. To say that we enjoyed and were moved by both tours is an understatement. I highly recommend Navajo Spirit Tours to anyone planning a visit to Monument Valley.

This has been the best tour yet in a week of tours. It was clear that giving tours is an avocation not a vocation for this company. Gary, our guide, loved sharing the culture of the Navajo Indians - their mythology and their love of the land. Gary made this a tour steeped in a loving view of Navajo culture. He took us to all of the sights of Monument Valley and at each one explained the cultural meanings. What was promised as a two hour tour ended up as a four hour tour. We were overwhelmed by the spirituality of the tour. I would take this tour again in a heartbeat and will recommend Navajo Spirit tours to our family and best friends.
