Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We visited Monument Valley several time. But in September 2017 we took the One Day Tour with Don Moses and we learned so many interresting things regarding the Navajo civilisation. Don is a genius regarding Monument Valley. He knows how to share all is knowledge related to theValley and the Navajos. So, when we came back to the Valley 3 weeks ago with some French friends we looked for Don and we were lucky! He was happy to take us on the last tour of the day. What a visit! Everyone was delighted. To sit Monument Valley I strongly recommend Navajo Spirit tour and of course DON MOSES!!!

Arrived at Monument Valley ready for pre-booked trip to Hunt's Mesa, due to a mix up on timing (partly our fault, I hadn't double checked our departure time) they were not ready, however they pulled out all the stops to get us a guide ready to go and he (Will Cowboy) was an excellent guide for the day and showed us the most amazing views I have seen in my life, as well as sharing stories of his growing up and about the Navajo people. I have wanted to visit this since a little boy seeing it in the movies and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this trip and cannot fault the provider for the mix up as they did everything to get us there, did not let us down, even got us a lunch and this proved to be the highlight of our trip. Thank you Navajo Spirit. Co-ordinates for photo to see in google maps is 36.894162, -110.081199, campsite is about 130m south and very slightly east of this viewpoint.

We did both a sunset tour (with Larry) and a daytime tour (with Don), and they were excellent. Larry shared heartfelt stories that were very meaningful to all of us. And we were especially touched by the care Don took with our 2 kids the next day, offering them deep insight not only into the culture and history, but the spirit of a beautiful human being.
