Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

I booked a Sunset tour, with Navajo Spirit, a few days in advance. There were a total of five people in our group. Our guide, Sean, was a fount of knowledge. During our three hour tour, he took us to spots in Monument Valley that were accessible only to locals or to tours accompanied by guides. Sean educated and regaled us with stories that kept us wanting more. The sunset tour is perfect for photography enthusiasts. If you book a tour with Navajo Spirit, you can't go wrong with Sean as your guide. I highly recommend a guided tour of Monument Valley.

Toured Monument Valley July 6th with Larry. First, this tour company goes places most others don’t. Our Navajo guide Larry was simply fantastic. Not only does he know this place like the back of his hand. More importantly, he shared so many stories with us and allowed us to learn about his people that it was impossible not to connect with this special place spiritually as well. And when he sang for us in the Big Hogan, well if that didn’t touch you, nothing will. We couldn’t recommend this company and Larry more unreservedly.

We booked a private three-hour tour with this company. I'm glad we did, as we preferred an enclosed air-conditioned vehicle over the open-air vehicles we saw throughout the park. Larry was an awesome guide and told us so much about Navajo culture and history. He also pointed out all the locations for the various movies filmed in Monument Valley. There were plenty of stops for pictures, and Larry showed showed us how to get some great shots. We also heard Larry sing and were joined by another guide who played his flute. These are the things you probably won't experience on other tours. It made for an unforgettable day, and I hope we can return and see even more of Monument Valley in the future.
