Larry Team was our trip guide and storyteller. He led us on a memorable tour with great stories of his native Navajo cultures and history. Larry shared photo opportunities and gorgeous countryside. We felt we experienced a trip back in time as he taught us life lessons via the Navajo peopleā€™s life style. We will come again and we will request Larry as our guide once more.

My husband and I highly recommend the the extended back country tour. Our guide, Sandrea was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about her Navaho culture and history, which she enthusiastically shared with us. She was attentive to our comfort and safety. She gave us great tips on photo ops. She even played the flute and sang some Navaho songs. This was a memorable experience.

Sandrea was amazing! First off, everyone keep your receipt for the park entrance in hand as they will check before beginning your tour. The extended backcountry tour was divine and breathtaking, the 3.5 journey explores the sacred land of Navajo tribe, the open seating allowed you to view everything in its glory. There is plenty of stops highlighting the vast beauty and meaning for everything. The deeper inside you go the more the views change. Thinking about not having to walk majority of the time and taking the endless amount of pictures I did, was absolutely worth it. As of today 10/2022 Navajo Nation requires all visitors going inside establishments to wear mask, be respectful is the only thing I always offer to say. The tour lead by Sandrea made as laugh and was fun, she had a great personality and shared a cherished moment when she sang and played under the eagles eye, and we heard and went into the Womanā€™s Hogan where a woman shared the art to weaving and traditions. Plenty to shop for along the way, hand crafted arts and jewelry inside the way as well as in Gift Store and Gaulding. Worth every penny, and Sandrea was our girl that made the day extraordinary!
