Bobby, our guide was worth twice the price. He was a wealth of knowledge about every spot we stopped at. He was a real value-added part of the tour. That, asnd getting off the 'regular' tourist driving loop into the back country of the valley made this a 'must-do' tour.

Our guide, Bob, was a real highlight. He took time to know each of his 11 passemgers, and he provided a wealth of knowledge and insights in to whatever it was we were viewing throughout the tour. He could cite geology, history, culture, about any and every place we stopped at, as well as knowing what movies were filmed where. Ohj, and he could operate any kind of cell phone or camera for his guests.

There are many choices for Monument Valley back country tours. I can't imagine getting a better experience than the one we received from Monument Valley Safari. The tour is 3.5 hours, where others offer 1.5 and 2.5 experiences. Our guide Don Mose was very enlightening with lessons on Indian culture, history, hieroglyphs, geography, geology, and his own experiences. And he made the experience SO MUCH FUN. It was an absolute delight. Best decisions we made on our entire trip. I will say that they are difficult to reach by phone because of cell service. But if you leave a message or emails them, you will hear back. I'm overwhelmed by my experience with them. Great company.
