We took the 2.5 hour tour. It was a great way to see key monuments up close and learn about the formations and Dine' culture. We had a chance to get out of the jeep to walk around to take pictures and visited a Hogan to see a weaving demonstration. Also check out the exhibits in the small museum at the View hotel. Well worth it.

although pricey, well worth the money. Sheena took us on a great tour- ask for her! the tour made this place one of the top two places I have seen. would do it again! bucket list for me.

We are very happy we chose this company! We saw a couple of tour vehicles from other companies driving around packed with at least a dozen tourists bouncing around squinting and chocking in the dust. Our small group of 2 couples were able to roll up the windows of an enclosed AWD minivan today while clouds of sand blew around us. At first I had some doubt that the tour was worthwhile since we started out driving along the same dusty loop that anyone can drive, with anxious vendors at each stopping point. But then, things got interesting as we headed into an area accessible only with a guide. Toney, our DinƩ guide, was full of knowledge and stories that made the experience engaging and fun. After reading some other comments here I would expect your guide will be equally skilled. We stopped frequently to take pictures and see things close up. Toward the end, a cold bottle of water was very refreshing. I am giving only 4 stars because this tour, like most tours, is a well-traveled route and you will probably encounter other tour groups along the way. We overlapped at least two other groups. That slightly alters the experience but there is a reason an area like this draws so many people and we were very happy with the tour.
