Our favorite part of our tour was our experiences with our tour guide, Bobby. He was very engaged and experienced as a Navaho Indian who actually grew up on the Monument Valley Reservation. His was able to identify anything we viewed and spent extra time taking pictures of us. (His is expert with all the tricks of an iPhone!). He took us to a Navaho Hogan where we met Priscilla who demonstrated her rug weaving skills using fibers from her own sheep. You can purchase her beautiful work there and also other artistic jewelry, baskets, etc….. We traveled in a brand new, spotless black Suburban. Beautiful! Bobby shared so much about the Navaho Indian history and other Arizona tribes. He spent two stops playing his beautiful flute which was the very favorite part of our tour!

My family and I (2 adults and 2 kids - 8&6) took this tour with Clint as our guide. It was cold and snowing but Clint was amazing. He took us to all the usual places plus a number of ā€œtour onlyā€ spots. He was so incredibly knowledgeable about the best photo places as well as the story of the park. He was so generous in sharing his history and knowledge of his people with us. We learned so much about the Navajo people and beliefs. It was worth the cost and time, it’s the best way to see the park. Definitely search these guys out and ask for Clint! You won’t be disappointed!
