What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

All hot air balloon tours check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Enjoy stunning views of iconic Camelback Mountain in the heart of the Phoenix Valley. You pilot will share the history of this fascinating city and will point out local wildlife and plant life.

Downtown Phoenix

You will be able to see Downtown Phoenix in the distance as you soar over the valley. As you begin to land, you'll see a table complete with linens and china in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You are greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

To anyone wanting to to fly high. I highly suggest a cruise with Hot Air Balloon Expiditions Tour. The super professional and friendly staff, Captain Tommy and Crew Chief Todd, allowed us to have a beautiful adventure with a catered breakfast.

What a great time! Miley D is an amazing pilot and our crew of Al and Jason added to the great time we had. We would do it again in a heartbeat and I couldn't recommend Hot Air Expeditions more highly.

My hubby and I had a WONDERFUL experience with Hot Air Expeditions! Specifically Captain YeeHaww, Jim, Ted, & Clovers! They are such a professional & FUN CREW to be with! I learned so much about the Arizona fields with Captain Yeehaww, saw plenty of Jack Rabbits & gorgeous views! Everything started when it was supposed to & the toast & breakfast at the end was just enough! They even had cider! I believe we were in the air for 2 hours & we got up to 5,280 feet! Thank you Hot Air Expeditions for an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!! YEEHAWW!!
