Mush Your Own Sled Dog Team (Summer/Fall Tour)

Overview

This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! So, so, so happy we went and got to experience this. All the dogs and puppies were so cute and cuddly. Our good was absolutely fantastic and suuuuuper informative. We hope to be back sometime in the future and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much!!!!

This sled ride exceeded my expectations. I loved it. The dogs are loving, and I was amazed at how they cheered for the other dogs that started their sleds, then they went silent after the sleds left their site. The sled dogs were just fantastic.

So fun, so informative! We got to meet most of the dogs, all 4 of us got to drive and ride. We even encountered moose on the way out.
