Mush Your Own Sled Dog Team (Summer/Fall Tour)

Overview

This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Great staff who are very knowledgeable and the dogs were fantastic! We got to mush our own team of 4 dogs and then met the puppies!

My wife and I toured the kennels and mushed our sled dog team (on dry land). Becky was our tour guide / mushing instructor, and she was fantastic! This was an experience we'll remember all our lives. Thanks for a great time!

My husband and I did the dog mushing tour with Gabby and it was such a unique and fantastic experience! It was such a thrill getting to mush our own sled dog team and we loved meeting all of the sled dogs, retired champions and puppies!! All the dogs we met were so excited and so happy, it was great to see them in their element. Highly recommend this for anyone traveling in Alaska!!
