What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

Trolleys operate on a 20-minute pickup schedule from 9:00am to 4:30pm for your convenience. Find a seat and begin your 1.5-hour tour of the history of Savannah. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savannah. Big Scott gave good information about the town and kept it interesting. He seems to care about his job which made it a great experience.

Loved my trolley tour around the city! And the actors that hopped on the trolley were a nice touch :) Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savannah for the first time.

A lot more pros than cons, but our driver / tour guide was quirky, which ended up being irritating towards the end of the tour. Pros: +Very good overview of the city. Gave us ideas of where to go back to and explore in more detail. +You can start the tour at any of their stops, which was nice, since we were down on River Street for brunch, so we started from there. + They had three "character tour guides" at different stops that added a little entertainment compared to a more traditional tour. +Good customer service when we called! +Open air trolley, which allowed you to see a lot and enjoy the nice weather. What a beautiful city! Cons: -Driver, as previously mentioned. -We did the tour (not the hop on hop off option), so the 100 minutes it took to do the full loop was a bit long. Not the tour companies fault. The time was clearly stated on their website. -We had to switch vehicles at the Visitors Center. I guess the driver was getting off work or was going on break. The first driver we had was good, but we were only with her for 2 or 3 stops. The time it took for the next trolley to get there, plus for the ticket people to do their thing, it added another 30 minutes. I guess one down side of starting the tour not at the Visitors Center.
