We really had some good laughs and learned some interesting facts. We highly recommend this museum. Plan for at least 3-4 hours or more.

This place is awesome, but isn’t as personalized as it could be. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but we felt like we missed a lot because so many comedians and shows and movies weren’t even mentioned, even though we had chosen the comedy we liked best. For example, we both chose Brian Regan and Ellen Degeneres and Airplane… none of which appeared anywhere during our visit. We didn’t see Bob Newhart or Kevin Hart, either. Still: this place is well worth a visit if you enjoy stand-up comedy, sit-coms and/or funny movies. TONS to do. Maybe we just needed to stay longer and do more, but after 2 1/2 hours, we were ready to leave. Many of the pictures in TripAdvisor show things I never saw. Shout out to the staff: the guy who checked us in set the tone and made us laugh before we even started! And the staff saved the visit for us several times, appearing out of nowhere when we had issues with the equipment. These people make the place great. If only there were more things we chose covered when we tapped our magic bands, it would have been 10 stars.

This has to be one of the top museums in the US or anywhere for that matter. Because we were there when it was winter, we had the place to ourselves. It’s beautifully designed, exhibits are top notch and you will laugh all the way through it. The history of comedy is represented from vaudeville onward with stand-up, late night, television and movies, etc. It’s just fun and funny. Don’t miss it.
