What To Expect

National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car. Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum. As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership. You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs. Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes. The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items. An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

If you're a member of the Corvette Family this is a must visit. There were vetts from the fifties to brand new 2023. It's stocked with all models and colors. I wouldn't be surprised if there is 100 million dollars worth of vehicles there. Also racing memorabilia, and plenty of hands on exhibits for the family to play with. A fully stocked gift shop. Worth a day trip, Always Chefnfly

This a a neat place to stop and visit. We don't own a corvette, buy hubby does like them. After you pay watch the video first. It doesn't matter where it is at as it continues to play. It takes about 15 min and just leave when you get back to where you started. I was impressed where this car started and where it is at today. Nice facility, very clean and up to date. The sink hole experience was really informative. Bad for the cars, but that was very cool to see where it actually happened at.

This is a must visit and tour for any and all gear heads, non-gearheads, children and those just interested in a good time. Site and cars are best enjoyed by a guided tour which is priced reasonable. History of museum is highly entertaining, and the gift shop is a place you should plan to spend an extra 30 minutes or so. Corvette Boulevard is the place where dreams do come true. Overall, I rate our visit exciting and well beyond our expectations. A true visit to real Americana.
