Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

We had the best time visiting from Ohio! Kirby was so fun and informative. He made us feel safe, while still having a great time. We learned all about the history of the river and surrounding towns while enjoying the thrill of the ride! We even got to jump off a huge rock, bonus!! I would absolutely recommend going with this smaller company over some of the big ones. It is a much more personalized experience. We had 4 nurses in our group and they offer a 50% discount for first responders which is amazing! 10/10 recommend both West Virginia Adventures and Kirby as a guide.

The water was fantastic. Our guide Robbie was so knowledgable and affirming and calm. It was an amazing experience - I’d love to do it again!
