A couple of us were a little nervous going into it. Our guide, Elliott, put our minds at ease and helped us feel prepared for the adventure. It was just our family of four in the raft with our guide, but there were five rafts in our group. I felt safe even though Iām not a strong swimmer. For the last 45 minutes we were rafting in a thunderstorm but even that was fun and made for a more memorable experience. The bus rides to and from were long - like 25-30 min each. But the whole outing was worth the time and money.

Great experience with this outfit! We felt like we were in good hands and didn't worry about anything from the bus ride out to the bus ride back! The guides and bus driver were all great people! If you want to be thoroughly entertained ask for Crock! He was fun and knew everything about rafting, the river and the local area. We had a great time!

We loved the Lower New River Afternoon Express! It was great for my friends who had never been rafting and for those of us who have been a few times. We had Crock for our guide - we loved his stories, and he was clearly one of the most knowledgeable guides on the river.
