Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

We made a last minute reservation for the 6-hour white water rafting trip, and despite some pre-trip jitters, ended up very happy that we were able to fit this into our itinerary while in the Fayetteville area. As a family of 4 (all adults), we very much enjoyed spending the day on the river with Croc as our guide. The weather conditions were perfect and the scenery was beautiful. The skill of our guide and the attention to safety gave us great comfort that we were in good hands! We were glad to be the only family in our boat, so that we were not exposed to others, except our guide, during this time of the pandemic. We highly recommend this adventure and would do it again!

Not my first rafting trip on the New but it’s been my favorite. This is a small outfit but they provided great customer service and were more personable than the others. Crock, our guide was great. He put us in the right spots for a fun ride!! Give West Virginia Adventures a shot!

Crock was an excellent guide!! It was my son and daughters first “real” rafting trip and I was nervous about it. But he was great and definitely eased my mind so we could all have fun!!! Kept us laughing all day and we all had a great time! All of the guides were personable and funny-great atmosphere!
