Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

4 moms took 5 (9th grade) girls on a fun rafting trip down the New River with our guide, Eddie!! It was the best bonding for all of us. Eddie was superb and very knowledgeable of the river and history of the area. We felt very safe and comfortable on the raft as it was a first time for most of us. The river is awesome with its views of the mountains. The water temperature was perfect and we had just enough rapids to make it a very exciting trip. Will definitely do it again!!! Next time, the Gauley River! I am sure all of the guides are awesome, but Eddie was a perfect fit for our gang. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun morning and afternoon on the river.

We had a wonderful time on our family whitewater rafting trip! It was the first time our children, ages 10 and 7, had been rafting and it was the perfect mix of rapids and floating/swimming time for them. Gary was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the river and the area in general. The New River area is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend West Virginia Adventures!

What a great rafting trip. The owner Ron and guide John Henry where both fantastic. I went with my boyfriend and 14 year old daughter and had a great time. We did the lower New River with lunch and I can't say enough great things about this company. Our guide was very informative and kept us safe while making sure we had a great experience. They were both so nice and very funny. Anyone who wants to have a great whitewater trip with a local company, not one of the giant corporations this is the one to go with. They are really awesome.
