Class III/IV rapids provide excitement and a trip you will never forget. Amazing scenery, high adventure, no experience required, trips run March through October each year. Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

On June 3, 2016, my family and I rafted the New River with West Virginia Adventures. We had an absolute blast on our trip. My teenage kids both requested that we return this year and raft with WVA. Rob and John Henry didn't disappoint. Expert guide and expert advice on how to maximize the fun we had on the river. We were also fortunate to raft with the reviewer from Westerville. What an amazing group of ladies. In addition, we had an awesome lunch on the side of the river prior to concluding our trip. I would give this company a higher rating than Excellent if it were possible. Call them, you will not be disappointed. However, you will be grinning from ear to ear once you get on the river. My girlfriend and I took my three teen girls for the full day trip. We made fast friends with the family of four we shared raft with and proceeded down the beautiful New River for a great adventure! Our guides, John Henry and Rob, were friendly and experienced. The lunch provided was fantastic! We will definitely be back for another go round.

Great outfitter to go through for a Boy Scout troop, and the price was right as well. We had them cater our meals, and they were on time and out of this world. West Virginia Adventures was very accommodating to our troop. The river guides, Eddie and Gary, were very nice and knowledgeable. When our troop decides to go whitewater rafting again, we'll be booking through West Virginia Adventures.
