An amazing display of classic, historic, & modern quilts. Curator finds quite a mix for varying interests. Museum has a permanent collection as well as visiting galleries. The ‘Swing Jackets, ‘ all created by the same African American artist, depicts cultural stories & the struggles of her people. Definitely worth a visit!

Thank you for the kind words. Patricia Montgomery's swing coats are amazing, and we are honored to have them on exhibit through the year.

The National Quilt Museum was small but worth the trip. A variety of quilts were displayed showing various techniques and styles. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful quilts on display! Award winners everywhere of all types and sizes. No pictures allowed inside, so buy a book if you want to keep the memories alive in the museum gift shop. During the quilt show they have demonstrations of quiltmaking outside the front entrance.
