I started quilting a few months and decided to make a 'pilgrimage' to this center of Quilt Art. My friend Beth and I are quilters and our spouses got dragged along. The beauty, artistry and superb craftsmanship of the quilts was appreciated by quilters and non-quilters alike. I am hoping to go back again next year as I understand they are frequently changing their displays.

The NQM was on my bucket list for many years. My best friend and I visited and were not disappointed. The quilts, the stained glass windows of quilts, the staff…everything was fantastic. We spent several hours there and were in awe of the incredible designs and handiwork of the quilt artists. The gentleman inside the exhibit room was most helpful and knowledgeable; he shared information about each quilt and answered our questions. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness! I guess I was expecting a “quilt show.” What they have is an actual ART Museum! Outstanding! Would love to bring my daughter to this. I highly recommend a visit. I’m not a quilter, but my mother is so I accompanied her on a recent visit. I am blown away!
