Much more time spent outdoors in the adjoining graveyards than below ground in the catacombs. Lots of interesting history, but don't go thinking you'll see the U.S. equivalent of the Paris, Rome or Lima catacombs.

Tommy was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job of explaining the history of St Patrick’s cathedral, the demographics of the neighborhood and the significance of the catacombs. As a native New Yorker growing up in Brooklyn, I didn’t know that this church existed. Saint Patrick’s. Basilica was quite beautiful.

This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guy made this tour an amazing experience and his humor kept us entertained while his historical knowledge was immense. Jimmy, thank you!
