The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.

First time visitors to NYC and these different routes really helped us get round and see the big tourist spots. We did all the routes and some twice! We want to mention the 2 tour guides who really stood out which were Mark (native New Yorker) but didn't get surname who was funny and entertaining and just right amount. Of new york attitude. We learnt a lot. Also to John Harkins as he was first rate. The information felt personalised to the guests on board. We had already done the route twice but everything he said was new and different and gave us so many ideas. We are coming back just to do some.of the activities he suggested. 3 other guides were OK but it really does make a difference if you connect with your guide. I would say if the guide isn't your style then hop off that bus at a place you fancy exploring and hop on the next for a different guide.

The tour guide (Tim) has an excellent knowledge on the city. He shares interesting facts and practical tips about dining and navigating the streets. Overall, it was a fun experience. I recommend it to those who want to understand the context of the sights that they visit.

Information provided on the marketing flyer is not correct. Downtown stop 1 where is should be the beginning of the tour , it’s not a stop 1, it’s actually a stop 2 , so the bus comes full already with no available seats to choose from. No address provided for stop 0. The company employees could not provided the right information. Very terrible experience. Think twice before purchasing tickets with the Big Bus company. Very bad experience !

We do not lie or false advertise as we pride ourselves in operating a compassionate and ethical business, anything less of that is going against our core values and we would never jeopardize our reputation in doing so. Although, we do our utmost to reduce overcrowding and long delays. Unfortunately, we cannot force passengers to hop-off which can cause limited seating.
