The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.

Have watched full buses pull away from stops multiple times with people still waiting - happened to us twice. One tour guide advised us to take the subway if we wanted a ride. Inside of buses aren’t air conditioned but with full buses it’s ride in the heat or wait for another bus. Guides are inconsistent. The routes end in Times Square so you can’t make a full loop back to your starting point. Will try a different company next time I need a tour.

Good Afternoon iowaish, We at Big Bus Tours strive to exceed our customer's expectations each day, clearly, we did not do that for you. Please know while we monitor the demand, and plan for additional buses during busier times, there are elements that are out of our control. We can not force any one to hop-off, which cause increase in limited seating and delays. Please know our buses have A/C and we check our buses before leaving for the days service, but sometimes we experience issues during hotter days. Although, you enjoyed some tour guide, please note, we have licensed guides who all go through extensive training to provide our guest with an enthusiastic commentary that is both informative and enjoyable, filled with rich and interesting facts about NYC. We had the 3 day hop on hop off. Myself and my daughter got there first thing in the morning. We didn’t have to wait long for the bus. When it was ready to set off, the tour guide John Harkins was absolutely brilliant. He certainly knew his stuff, he just kept coming out with all the information you need to know about New York. Apart from knowing about all the buildings, he also explain why the roads are one way. Which way the went west and east. It all makes sense in the end 😁 When I could go on an on , you just have to go and have a bus tour with John Harkins he’s the best. Keep up the good work John 👍

Darius and Lee were our tour guides. Both did an excellent job! Nice to see and hear about city in a relaxing environment.
