I’ve done many bus tours in a variety of cities and I’ve always been happy. This one was awful. The salesmen on the street lied to us about so many things, such as Central Park bikes are included (only after you buy the first hour!), the busses have their own lanes so traffic isn’t an issue (only for two blocks in Chinatown), etc. The prices on the street are much much higher than online. The salesmen are on every corner and they are so aggressive, obnoxious and pushy it’s to the point of harassment. They literally followed my daughter and I trying to sell us tickets for days after we (regrettably) already purchased tickets. I tried many tactics to make them leave us alone but nothing worked. They’re all foreign and they get right in your face - maybe it’s better if you’re a man but they were absolutely horrible to us. The night tour doesn’t have enough buses running so you wait for hours to get on, some never made it on. Go with a different company, you will be sorry if you choose Top View!

We purchased the Hop On - Off bus tour ticket during an overnight trip to the city. The bus was in fair condition but my wife and I were disappointed by the recorded summary/explanation of the sights and the ear buds provided were hard to hear through. There were a lot of stops during the trip, many more than those identified on the tour map. Those stops combined with traffic and traffic lights created a situation where we seemed to be sitting more than moving. We will seek out something a little more personal next time, this felt like a means of transportation around the city with very little effort put into the touring aspect.
