As a native New Yorker I found this tour fabulous! Nobody teaches you the real history of speakeasies. I found this tour last minute as myself and a friend were having lunch. We purchased tickets and walked over. Our tour guide was friendly and animated. The places we went to were great! I liked the option to purchase food and drinks on our own too.

My friends and I don't get many opportunities to explore the city whilst in medical school so we are so glad we decided to use one of our free weekends to take this tour! Teddy was a wonderful tour guide! I learned so much about the prohibition era and enjoyed so many fun facts about the different speakeasies we visited. We loved all three stops. Each location had its own style and flair. The cocktails were excellent across the board! Teddy led us to some awesome hidden gems in the city that we certainly would have overlooked. I highly recommend this tour!

We did the tour on Christmas Eve with a very interesting group of about 14. Our excellent guide told us the history of the speakeasy and some interesting stories. We went to three venues and had a drink at each. The first was the most authentic, in a basement a full of atmosphere. All three venues were very different. This is a fun tour, especially if you get a good group on it as we did. Highly recommended!
