My wife and I had an extra night in Midtown with no specific plans. Instead of finding a favorite Irish pub, we booked this tour. It was great in every regard. Our guide, Tim, was a natural, who helped the others, some from overseas, meld beautifully into a really fun group. The stops are historic and interesting, great for photos to post. All in all, a perfect evening. Highly recommended!

Kate was wonderful, bubbly and informative just like the drinks we were to experience. This was a tour through modern day NYC but with an eye on the prohibition era and its history. Kate was a font of knowledge and fun and introduced us to the historical context and the physical properties where speakeasy's existed. The bars where Kate entertained us resonated with prohibition era history and this cae alive with her storytelling. The drinks were superb and added to the fun part of the tour.

We enjoyed the first two locations tremendously, but the third was a bit of a letdown - no place to sit, we were just brought in, given a beer and then left on our own pretty far from where we started. However, our guide was a 10 on the scale of 1 to 10 and we would book with her again.
