Overview

Experience a sunset from New York Harbor and enjoy sweeping views of Manhattan's skyline, parts of Brooklyn and Jersey City from Schooner America 2.0, a modern tribute to the first boat that won the America's Cup in 1851. America 2.0 is 105-feet in length and has about 3600 square feet of sail area. Sail by Manhattan's Financial District, One World Trade and Ellis Island as the boat sails toward the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy up-close views of Lady Liberty and a great photo opportunity as the sun dips below the horizon. This trip is perfect for couples, friends, visitors and locals. Adult ticketing applies to all travelers.

Crew was great, large social distancing in effect, felt completely safe, and was extremely quiet because it’s a sailboat! 2 hours felt like the perfect length, and the crew will literally hang from the rafters to take a good photo of you with your phone. Would definitely recommend this one specifically if you’re looking for a sailboat cruise around the city

We were a party of three, and a mix of visitors and residents. And we all agree that this sunset sail to the Statue of Liberty is a special experience. Being out on the water on a beautiful evening, taking in the sights of Manhattan's skyline reflecting the setting sun is an experience for all the senses. The sunset cruise is the best time to be out on the water. The complimentary beverage (beer, wine, cider, champagne) turned into a few more for each of us, that the crew easily was able to add to my credit card from my reservation. Covid precautions ensure plenty of space between parties and everyone has an assigned "zone", taking out the rush of boarding to get the "best seats". Special experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
