I took several people with developmental disabilities on the sail. The staff was very respectful and helpful with my individuals. The trip was beautiful. It was a great way to see the harbor and the statue. I would go again in a minute. It was the highlight of our trip to NY.

Hello, We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us out on the water. The Statue of Liberty always looks stunning from the perspective of the water. Please make sure to join us again if you are back in the city, if not then make sure to check us out in one of our other locations (Boston MA, Newport RI, or Key West FL) Warmly, Classic Harbor Line

Such a great experience! Highly recommend the Day to Sail Statue of Liberty Sailboat America 2.0. It was 2 hours and is was a perfect sailboat ride. There was 7 of us (6 adults and 1 child-11yrs old). It even poured on us for about 10 - 15 min which ended up being really funny. They had poncho's for us which was nice. The Sailboat was really nice and we couldn't have been more impressed with the boat, the staff and it was not crowded at all! Just so you know this is not a tour with a speaking/tour guide. This is a boat ride and you look at everything yourself. We loved this because we could talk to our family without having to listen to someone speak.

Hello, Seeing this city from the perspective of the water is always magical but what is even more magical is doing it while sailing aboard the 105 foot Schooner America 2.0. Thank you for sharing this experience. We hope to have you out with us again in the near future. Warmly, Classic Harbor Line

I have been on the Schooner Adirondack now for the fifth time, and this last time was just as magical as the first. For the price of an average lunch in New York, you arrive to a beautiful wooden sail boat with friendly staff. You take a seat and quickly are served a beverage (they give you three rounds!) and then you're off and sailing in New York Harbor. The captain and crew are friendly but largely stay behind the scenes -- but do offer tidbits of info here and there to make your journey interesting. I came with two children on the recent trip and the Captain was very engaging with them--it was a highlight for the kids. You will sail around the Statue of Liberty and just soak in Manhattan--all in an efficient two hours. Such a perfect use of time.
