I bought three sightsee tickets from Topview. (1) The salesman charged me 31 dollar extra lying it was tax. (2) They said the cruise runs every hour and did not say anything else. When I arrived at 3 pm at the peer, they did not let me board. I saw several other people was waiting there and there were not allowed to board. When I asked them what time is the next cruise, they said I have to wait another 2 hours. There was nothing except water at the peer, I cannot waste 2 hours there. So I called customer service, on the call, they said they asked to give me another ticket valid for a year but I have already told them I am from Virginia and I only have one day in New York. He asked me to send an email to them and they will process the refund. I did send them email. They replied my email again saying they can send me another tickets. I refused. My point is because of their problem, I wasted my time at the cruise and they charged extra amount and lied to me. I think it is illegal. As a business, they should not lie to the customers. Please help me to get the refund. Thanks.

It cost $79, the $29 advertised on the bus gets you almost nothing. The sales person said there was a bus every 20 mins, which is inaccurate. More like 40-60 mins. You can’t always get on as it’s full, or can’t sit it up up nor see through the window down the bottom. The ‘free’ cruise is a scam. They don’t tell you that you have to pay an extra $10 to sit up the top of the boat or you were packed in like sardines, and when we got there after paying extra we had standing room only. Absolute rip off, waste of money and clearly designed to rip off tourists, when tourism is down.
