Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

Worst experience ever…I don’t know if they’re from Russia…but whatever they are there service sucks…I wouldn’t recommend anyone going

Hi Javarney We are not sure what you mean by stating that you don't know if were from Russia, that would not tie into your experience regardless if we were. Your experience was based on your attitude towards your late arrival. The website and your tickets state that you must arrive 1 hour prior to your flight time and the fees associated to being late. Your flight was at 4pm and you did not check in until 3:41pm (41 minutes late). You refused to pay the late fee and your flight was forfeited. Please note that you booked online which means that you are responsible to read what you are booking. We can only assume that customers read all the information we supply and cannot be held responsible if you did not. Its important that for the future you read what your buying and follow the instructions provided. Thank you

Worst experience ever with the crew member they lied about everything. The ride was fine but this is a scam this company is running about being late charging people $100. The ride didn’t even start on time but these have the nerve to us late fees and for what…I still can’t understand why.

You were charged a late fee because you checked in 20 min before your flight and other customers had to wait for you. The office staff called to confirm your check in time and you confirmed. If you come in late you pay the late fee.

The Helicopter ride itself is an exhilarating experience. the penalties for late arrival are steep and it could be emphasized in the Viator confirmation email. there was also a $45 per person surcharge at the helicopter hangar which was not mentioned.
