A fan of literature (aren't we all?), I was intrigued by this new walk in Key West, which combines true and fascinating tales of many of the writers and poets who lived in Key West with places significant to their lives and works. For example, the nondescript building - a garage decades ago, with an apartment above - where Hemingway and Pauline, his second wife, were to stayed overnight while awaiting delivery on a car. The car failed to arrive on time and Hemingway and Pauline were stuck there for weeks; meanwhile, Hemingway fell in love with Key West and wrote much of "A Farewell to Arms." The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, the group numbered about twenty, and the walk covered the center of Key West; the walk did not get down to the house where Hemingway lived, which, given the massive crowds down there, was a relief.
