Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

People should not go on this tour with unreasonable expectations. Olympic NP is huge and far, and you will only get to see a small part of it in one day. I was happy to see Joel as my guide again. I did the Rainier tour with him a few months ago and I thoroughly enjoyed him as a tour guide. He is professional, enthusiastic, and definitely enjoys showing people the places he loves. Bring your hiking shoes if possible, as there was a little bit of hiking at Hurricane Ridge (and still a ton of snow) and to the Marymere Fall at Lake Crescent. All in all, a great tour! It did sicken me as I saw five different people getting dropped off before me and not one single person tipped.

Thank you so much for understanding how large the Park is. You are absolutely correct that we are not able to cover everything in one day but do try to go to the most highlighted locations. I am glad you enjoyed your time with Joel again. It is hardening when guests do not offer a gratuity to our guides to show appreciation for their hard work. We appreciate you noticing and showing your gratitude. Thank you for your review.

We saw Canada through the haze from a beach, deer and a waterfall at a lakefront and snow and great views of the mountains at Hurricane Ridge.
