Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

What a fantastic day! Hannah was a great guide, always giving us fun facts about the trees and land formations. All our stops were beautiful and she gave us time to enjoy each one. Hannah also offered suggestions on where to visit for the remainder of our visit and was very knowledgeable about Seattle. My daughter and I would highly recommend this excursion!

Joel was an excellent tour guide and amazing at taking pictures. Instead of sticking to a rigid schedule he was able to adjust based on the current weather conditions to give us the best tour possible.

My girlfriend and I had a great time on the tour! Originally we were trying to rent a car and visit the park ourselves. But thankfully we decided to go the tour route. There are a number of options and we chose this tour based on reviews. We are so glad we did! Joel was our guide and he was perfect. Along the entire tour he shared history and fun facts. He was very knowledgeable about the park, itā€™s history, and itā€™s inhabitants (animal, plant, and natives). Joel also did a great job accounting for those who were prepared for the hikes and those who were not. He even had snow shoes for those on sneakers. Take this tour šŸ˜
