Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

Great introduction to the Olympic Peninsula and National Park. You get to see a variety of things - beach, forest, waterfalls, lakes, and mountains - in one day. Joel was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He was always there with information and/or to take a picture if needed.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. I was originally a little sad that we wouldnā€™t also be doing Sol de Duc on the same day as we did the three other stops (Hurricane ridge, lake crescent, and the beach), but now I realize it would literally not have been possible since we were picked up at 7am and only made it back to the city at 9pm (they occasionally switch out certain locations based on weather but itā€™s not possible to do them all in one day time-wise). Joel was great and accommodating when I contacted him the evening before the tour (we were swept up in the Zipcar outage) to possibly change the day. I appreciated the kindness and flexibility. The tour itself was great. We were given the maximum possible time in each location, which was just enough to enjoy the places we visited. Having done a 6 mile Rainier hike the day before, I really appreciated not having to drive several hours or worry about ferry logistics. It was nice to just be able to sit back and relax, nap on the bus, and enjoy the trip, and Joelā€™s stories. He even managed to get us to a restaurant we wanted to go to right before it closed. Thank you!

Sounds like you had a great time with Joel and he did make the best decisions of the days itinerary. You are brave to venture out and sign up for back to back Mountain Tours. I hope you enjoyed your restaurant. Thank you for touring with us.

The best part of this trip was, how Joel ( our guide ) has planned the overall trip. Joel has explained us in details about ( history, local people, important stories) of all the visited locations. Our day started from Seattle after all the pick up has been done ( which was quick ). Went through ferry ( Seattle to brainbridge ) and covered total 3 places ( salt creek, Crescent lake where we did hiking to see Marymere fall, Hurricane ridge where everyone did hiking but we stayed there and enjoyed the view ). We got enough time for refreshments within this packed schedule all credit goes to Joel šŸ‘šŸ»
