Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

This tour covered the main attractions in north Olympic National Park: the Hurricane Ridge and the Lake Crescent. Both places were breathtakingly beautiful. We also visited the Madison Falls at Elwha, which was a Plan B stop as our tour was delayed on highway 101 behind a truck flat-tire incident for a long, long time. Our driver and tour guide Cory M. was very smart in handling the situation and proposed different plans for the guest to choose from. The Madison Falls was a great Plan B choice. Cory was excellent in keeping us entertained throughout the bus ride with many stories and historic information while still driving carefully. I'd choose him again for other tours. Part of the route was riding on the Ferry to Bainbridge across the Puget Sound which offered amazing views of Seattle and the Island. We stopped at the Longhouse Market & Deli for a quick break and to pick up some lunch (to eat on the bus to save time). There were a large selection of hot and cold sandwiches at the Deli. The Olympic sandwich I got was delicious!!

Thank you for your review. I am so glad with the unexpected delay the alternative route Cory selected worked out great. We appreciate you touring with us!

Really upsetting that we didn't visit everything that was listed on the itinerary. We didn't visit 4 out of 6 places that were listed. Also, our tour guide had a very crude personality and actually snapped at some people in our group. The guide was very eager to let us on our own to hike so that he could go for a swim by himself at Lake Crescent. Very disappointed as this wasn't a cheap trip.

There were quite a few issues from what I heard on your specific tour. It is unfortunate that you were not able to visit all of the locations however your group of five was also compensated for the mishap that was completely out of our control. Sad to see still received a low review. We still appreciate you touring with us and feedback.

Our tour guide Joel was well-versed & very conscientious, considerate & pleasant. This trip was long but with Tour guide like him it made the time go fast & enjoyable. He was very informative cuz he knows his stuff. We took ferry going to Olympic Natā€™l Park & the view when we got to Hurricane Ridge was breathtaking. It was an amazing experience.
