Original La Jolla Sea Cave Kayak Tour for Two

Overview
The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

  • Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of guests
  • Dress code is swim wear or beach attire (anything that can get wet)
  • Kayak weight limit is 425 lbs
  • Once you have purchased your voucher, please contact suppliers booking office directly at the number on your voucher to confirm the reservation. Failure to do so may result in not being able to participate in activity
  • Reservations, recommended two weeks in advanced, subject to availability
  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to schedule tour time for check in

Decided last minute to try out kayaking in La Jolla and so glad we did! The company was able to fit us in the same day that we called during the week. Our guides, Aiden and Chris were super friendly and knowledgeable! Would recommend to anyone traveling to La Jolla. The caves and sea lions were great.

I almost cancelled my tour because I was very nervous due to the fact thar I do not know how to swim. I was convinced I was going to tip over and that was it. The staff informed me that it was safe and that today was a great day because the water was calm. I decided to go for it, and I am glad! Morgan and Chris were great, and when my friend got seasick, they were great with her as well. I would definetley recommend this tour to people!

Morgan was awesome, but $100 for two people in one kayak seems a bit excessive. The cave area was pretty crowded when we got there, i would’ve rather had more time kayak surfing.
