Out of Africa Wildlife Park Admission Ticket

Overview
Come see animals up close in large spacious habitats. Out of Africa Wildlife Park strives to educate and entertain, to provide an exciting and engaging opportunity to love and respect creation and creator. It is a place where family and friends gather to experience oneness with animals and each other during safaris, tours, walks, observations, and shows of wild-by-nature animals in their own, natural splendor. In this way, we hope to achieve a kind of oneness with them that will cause us to consider them to be so valuable that we cannot allow them to be lost forever. We continually provide spacious and natural living habitats for animals in need, so they can become ambassadors of their own kind. We have heeded the call of those without a voice, many of whom now border on extinction.

We did a drive thru with our car. $22 per person. $88 for the car. For that we saw 6 different animals, little javelina pigs, a giraffe, a procupine, lemus, and two emus. We were not allowed to get out of our car to see anything, but was there anything to see? Most of the park was blocked off.

I have wanted to go see this for several years, so my husband took me and they are doing a good job with what is going on. We got half price for it is our birthday month. We drove thru in our car as many times as we wanted. We saw just about every animal that was there. The terrain has not been changed. There are people at some spots to explain or answer questions. One man tried enticing this girraffe to come closer, with food, for it was his time to be feed , but the girraffe was only going to get so close to us. It was an enjoyable 2-3 hours. I can hardly wait to go back when they are in full swing and can spend the day there.

If you have never seen exotic wild animals (or your kids haven’t) this might be worth a trip, otherwise waste your money (about $80 for 2 adults) at the nearby casino. It is a tired looking park (not even close to the San Diego’s experience), basically a dirt mountainside with a small number of animals (many were hiding underground even in Feb. when its cool). We saw 2 lions, one rhino, one giraffe (the best siting), and other animals in a few smaller, old, dirty buildings (birds, reptiles and monkeys). The big event was the tiger splash where 5 or so park employees distract a tiger with cat toys (balloons, stuffed animals etc.) getting him to jump into a backyard size swimming pool, while they make lame jokes. We didn’t pay extra for the special so called safari ride, likely a disappointment too, or the zip line (maybe worthwhile?). Tucson has 3 animal park/museums which are all excellent and a better choice if your in that area. Don’t waste your money at this one.
