Out of Africa Wildlife Park Admission Ticket

Overview
Come see animals up close in large spacious habitats. Out of Africa Wildlife Park strives to educate and entertain, to provide an exciting and engaging opportunity to love and respect creation and creator. It is a place where family and friends gather to experience oneness with animals and each other during safaris, tours, walks, observations, and shows of wild-by-nature animals in their own, natural splendor. In this way, we hope to achieve a kind of oneness with them that will cause us to consider them to be so valuable that we cannot allow them to be lost forever. We continually provide spacious and natural living habitats for animals in need, so they can become ambassadors of their own kind. We have heeded the call of those without a voice, many of whom now border on extinction.

With one last day in the Sedona area we decided to go to Out of Africa. I am so glad we did. We purchased the Expedition Passport and had the best guide. He was friendly, funny and very well informed on the animals. He was able to give us information in a manner that wasn't just a boring repetition of book info. It is so obvious that they care very much for all of the animals that are there. The animals have a lot of area to roam. You are given opportunities to feed a giraffe and even a tiger. It is well worth spending a day here and taking time to enjoy it. They have several additional experiences that you can purchase which all seem like they would be fun and educational.

We were staying in Cottonwood for 2 months and was given an annual pass for Christmas. We went about every other day between other hiking and activities in the area. My husband stated he could go here every day! We always saw something different and they have different tigers at the Tiger Splash show every day for their exercise and stimulation. Every person here was so friendly, knowledgeable and always asked if we had any questions about the animals when they saw us. They obviously loved and cared for the animals. Every day we saw handlers in the enclosures with the animals, petting them, checking them and giving them gifts from the giving tree and providing fun activities for the animals for their stimulation and enrichment. We learned all of the animals' names and tried to find ways to tell all of the tigers apart with their unique stripes (hint: Ezekiel was the easiest if you could see his left side). I fell in love with all of the animals and miss them now that we are back home (esp. Kumba the lion and Kibo the giraffe). Every admission for us included feeding a tiger, feeding a giraffe and the regular bush safari tour and of course, you can pet a critter, hold/pet a giant snake, hear spotted hyaenas laugh and if you can only go one day, I would try to go on a predator feed day to see the animals more up close and moving. There are all kinds of add-ons if you want a unique or more individualized experience (unimog, time with a sloth, zip line, VIP, etc). We always walked the park (about a 2 mile loop), but they have trams to transport you around the park as well. Nice, clean restrooms, hand sanitizer stations, food for purchase and a small gift shop. Loved this place more than words can say!!!

This very natural and realistic wild animal park is very much like a safari. It is not a typical zoo. Ride the trams around many acres and see the animals in their natural habitat. Don't forget to feed the giraffes that come right up to you.
